Making young people more aware and responsible toward a sense of civic duty and respect for the environment, making them active participants in the choices of the society to which they belong: this is the goal of the “We have a D.R.E.A.M” project, which involved ten primary, middle and secondary schools in the municipalities of Foligno, Spoleto, Bevagna, Trevi, Spello and Norcia.
The action was aimed at activating and monitoring the proper management of separate waste collection, re-proposing in the schools the door-to-door system being used for homes and businesses. The goal, or rather the “dream,” was therefore to generate an independent system that could be self-managed and maintained and is sustainable and repeatable over time.
